Designed in collaboration with architect Massimo Iosa Ghini, Float is a perfect balance of lightness, softness, and sculptural form. The generous folds of fabric, reminiscent of ocean waves, create an inviting sense of fluidity—an irresistible call to sink into limitless comfort.
To capture the essence of Float’s design, Tide chose Venice as the backdrop for a launch video that highlights the seamless harmony between the piece and its surroundings.

Placing the sofa on a traditional Venetian transport boat was a bold choice, designed to emphasize how Float’s flowing, enveloping lines echo the rhythm of the waves, evoking a feeling of weightlessness and freedom. Through immersive storytelling, this project transforms Float into more than a design piece—it becomes a feeling, a moment, a connection between elegance and the ever-changing beauty of Venice.
